Who is your best friend?: Of course I have to say my husband, but there are a couple other people who have a very special place in my heart.
What instruments do you play?: None! My parents told me it was a waste of time. (Don't get me effing started.) It is my dream to take piano lessons one day, though.
What are your hobbies?: Reading, crocheting, watching comedies and anime, hanging out with husband and friends
What are your goals?: To get a bachelor's in Humanities and a Master's degree in a field TBD, to have the financial security to give the love of my life his gender reassignment surgery.
Would you ever sky dive or bungee jump?: No! This life is so precious to me, I don't want to take any unnecessary risks.
What kind of books and/or magazines do you read?: Oh, I love reading! I learned how to read when I was 2 years old, believe it or not! My aunt likes to tell stories of me sitting on my grandpa's lap reading the paper with him when I was 3 or 4. Anyhow, I love books of all kinds, I have read so much. As far as magazines, I do love mental_floss!
How would do describe yourself?: Oy vey. I will try to refrain from my normal mode of self-deprecation here. I am 5'4", I have the body type of a chubby little Hobbit. I have long wavy brown hair that has a mind of it's own, I wear very casual clothes. I walk with a cane because of my disability. I am funny, I am socially awkward, I am an enormous dork.
What is a topic you wish you knew more about?: I wish I knew how to write code for computer programs. I have several friends who are amazing with computers and I wish I had their abilities!
What do you daydream about?: This sounds so shallow, but having tons of money. We live on a fixed income because of my disability, and I dream of all the charitable donations I could finally make and all the ways I could change the lives of the people I love with that money.
What are your religious/spiritual beliefs?: I am a Wiccan. We believe that there is not just one God, but there are many. We worship Mother Earth and let the changing of the seasons guide us. It is a common misconception that we are devil-worshipping evil-doers: Much to the contrary! Actually, we do not even believe there is a Devil.
List 3 Things You Would Change About Yourself:
One:: I would give myself an incredibly speedy metabolism.
Two:: I would erase all my health problems
Three:: I'd be more self-confident.
Either / Or
Shy or Outgoing?: Not really shy, just a little avoidant.
Spender or Saver?: Saver by nature, but living on a small stipend makes me a spender. I have to spend every single cent just to get by!

Books or Movies?: Books! I love being able to create the images in my own mind.
Romantic Comedy or Action Adventure?: Gosh, probably action adventure. Comedy is my all-time favorite, but I am not a big romance fan.
Cats or Dogs?: It's a cop-out to say both, so I think I will say cats this time. I admire their independence.

Sing well?: In my head, yes! But not in actuality.
Want kids?: No. Love kids, but they are just not for me. I enjoy babies, but once they start back-sassing and becoming little monsters, no thanks!!

Been in a car accident?: A couple, none of which were my own fault.
Been out of the country? Where?: I have been to Canada on several occasions and I love it! Vancouver BC is an awesome place, I could spend weeks wandering it!
What Is...
The last CD you bought?: Well, I buy the digital downloads now. I can't remember the last time I bought an actual CD. But the last full CD I downloaded was "Promised Land," the new Dar Williams album. Look her up, she is really fantastic.
The last movie you saw in the theater?: Zack & Miri Make A Porno! I adore Kevin Smith films, and this is his latest. It was so gut-bustingly funny. Rarely has anything ever made me laugh so hysterically!
The last movie you rented?: Oh gosh, husband and I usually buy movies and not rent. But I do know we rented Sweeny Todd a few months back and fell in love with it!!
Your greatest fear?: Abandonment.
Your greatest strength?: The ability to handle whatever life throws at me. And at times, that has been a whole helluva lot.
Your greatest weakness?: Chocolate? My husband's puppy-dog eyes, wanting to make everyone around me happy, even at my own expense.
Your happiest memory?: Laughing with my friends. My true friends, that handful of people whose friendship is like platinum to me. Shiny and perfect.
Your Favorite...
Movie:: Yellow Submarine, Hard Day's Night, Jackie Chan films,
TV Show:: House MD, Family Guy, Red Dwarf, Robot Chicken, Star Trek (all of them!) Monty Python's Flying Circus, Father Ted, there are so many! I love British comedies, there are a precious few American TV shows I enjoy, but they include The Big Gay Sketch Show, South Park, Rick & Steve: The Happiest Gay Couple In All The World, Code Monkeys.
Actor:: Jackie Chan, Hugh Laurie, Johnny Depp,
Actress:: Angelina Jolie
Food:: Pizza, ice cream, chocolate, basically anything that is terrible for you!
Drink:: I'm a big water drinker, but I love Pepsi too and I enjoy a good gourmet root beer from time to time. Because of my medications, I am not much of an alcohol drinker, but I love my fuzzy navels and sampling sweet wines and microbrew beers.
Color:: Blues, purples and black.
Scent:: My husband. I know, that sounds odd. But I love nag champa incense as well, and sweet scents that are very subtle, but not sickly-sweet.
Season & WHY:: Fall. There is just something about the crisp air, the colors in the leaves, the food!
Day of the week & WHY:: My knee-jerk reaction was to say Wednesday, but I dunno why! I think Saturdays or Sundays are really my faves, for obvious reasons!
Store:: Target, Fred Meyer and charity/resale/thrift shops.
Quote:: Oh there are so very many!! I need to devote a whole page to my favorites.
What Do You Think About...
Abortion:: Abortion should be safe, legal and RARE. It is not a form of birth control, ladies.
Homosexuality:: Ok with me! Some of my closest friends are gay and I myself am bisexual. *wiggles for the ladies*
God:: The Gods and Goddesses are alive and magick is afoot!
Jesus:: In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, "I love your Christ but I despise your Christians."
Satan:: Makes a great South Park character, but that is about it!
Heaven:: Heaven is what we call the is a place of rest between incarnations.
Hell:: Hell is what we make it.
Miracles:: Quite possible. With the hands of the Gods and the indomitable will of man, anything is possible.
Astrology:: It has some truth to it! There are some people who exploit the art to make a quick buck, but I have found from my own experiences that the basic principles of astrology are sound.
War:: Call me an idealist, but I really believe that as human beings, the only creatures on this planet who were given the gifts of reason, we should be able to settle our differences with words and diplomacy. There should be no reason for us to kill one another. I am very much a pacifist and against "military solutions."
Ghosts:: Very possible for them to exist! I believe that there are several planes on which ghosts and spirits can exist, and there are different reasons and causes for them being here with us.
Reincarnation:: I believe it is a fact, there are just too many lessons in life to be learned in one go-round. I believe that we all go through a series of reincarnations, slowly taking as many lifetimes as we need to learn the life lessons that will complete our soul's journey until we can be reunited with the Goddess and God, and that is truly Heaven.
Karma:: Bide the Wiccan Laws we must In Perfect Love and Perfect Trust. Live and let live, Fairly take and fairly give...Mind the Threefold Law you should, Three times bad and three times good. When misfortune is enow, Wear the blue star on thy brow. True in Love ever be, Lest thy lover's false to thee. Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill: As Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will
Luck:: Lady luck is certainly a factor, but with Will and the force of the Goddess and God on your side, anything is possible.
Aliens:: They're out there! Believing that we are the only intelligent life in the endless universe is naive and full of conceit.
